Sunflower is a municipal golf course operated by Wyandotte County located 20 miles west of Kansas City off of I-70 at 130th Street to the north along the north side of the Interstate.

The golf course is a parkland style layout journeying along generally broad, tree lined fairways over slightly rolling topography. There's multiple ponds impacting play including forced carries with sand bunkers scattered about the landing areas and greens. It is a strong layout, especially from the back tees at 7,032 yards, 73.9/132, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Roger B. Packard in 1977.
