Eagle Chase is southeast of Charlotte and northeast of Monroe in Marshville carved through a forest.

The golf course's layout is a traditional design with fairways lined by trees requiring accuracy off the tee and on approach to the greens. There's seven holes with water in play, the sand bunkers are mostly greenside, and the trees easily grab the off-line shot but allow a pitch back on to the fairway. It's an entertaining course to play over sloping and hilly fairways with elevated tee boxes and greens. It's a Tom Jackson design and is 6,374 yards from the middle Green tees, 70.4/131, course/slope ratings.
