The Monroe Country Club is a municipal golf course located just south of Monroe below the Rt 74/601 intersection 30 minutes south of Charlotte.

The course is a parkland style layout through tree lined fairways on slightly rolling land with most of the par 5s potentially reachable in two. The greens are on the small side, raised a bit, and well defended by deep sand traps and collection areas. It's an original Donald Ross layout on the front nine with the backside by Tom Jackson in 1982, and is 6,759 yards, 71.8/118, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
