Eagle Rock is north of Billings on the east side of Rattlesnake Reservoir on a large tract of land along mostly unique and isolated fairways.

The course is challenging as it traverses narrow and broad fairways defined by trees and natural borders. There are numerous doglegs, several water hazards, and sand bunkers positioned along the fairways and guarding the mid-sized, sloped, and contoured greens. It can play to 7,152 yards, 74.2/127, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, designed by Matt Martinson.
