Lake Hills is on the north side of Billings off Wicks Lane within a residential community.

The course is a classic, parkland style layout along tree lined fairways over slightly rolling land with numerous water features but little in the way of sand bunkers. It was designed by George Schneiter in the 1950s and from the tips plays to 6,802 yards, 71.9/114, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
