Elks Run is in Batavia, southeast of downtown Cincinnati, off I-275 to the east on the Appalachian Highway.

The golf course is a challenging layout in a secluded setting over rolling terrain along fairways defined by trees and bordered by streams, lakes, and natural wetlands. There are 45 greenside, fairway sculptured sand bunkers, and nine holes with water hazards defending the greens or bordering the fairway landing zones. It's a Greg Norman design measuring 6,845 yards, 72.9/138, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
