Fenner Hill is 30 minutes south of Providence, just off I-95 at exit 2, which borders the interstate on the north side.

The golf course is a parkland design rambling through broad, tree-lined fairways over hilly terrain along rock outcroppings, stone walls, and ponds with an exaggerated emphasis on massive sand traps. The layout was designed by Ron and Dennis Levesque. From the tips, it can play to 6,636 yards, 71.8/134 course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees down to 5,112 yards.
