Fire Ridge is north of Milwaukee just off of I-43 south of Port Washington.

The course rambles over a large tract of land along isolated fairways on rolling terrain. The broad fairways are defined by stands of mature hardwoods at the borders with collars of tall prairie grasses defended by 70 sand bunkers and water features on six holes. It was designed by Kerry Mattingly & Gregg Kuehn and is 7,016 yards from the tips, 74.5/136, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
