Fire Ridge Golf Course is on the east side of Millersburg on Route 62 carved through the forests of Holmes County with homes bordering a few of the holes.

The course is over a wild tract of hilly land along tree lined fairways with water hazards on seven holes and sand bunkers mostly defending the modest greens. The original front side is a playable warm-up to a more challenging and target-style backside. There's four sets of tees from 4,317 yards to 6,296 yards from the tips, where the course rating is 70.4, the slope 124, with design work by Ron Cutlip.
