The Forest Park Country Club is just off the US 58 Bypass on the south side of Martinsville at the Spruce Street exit to the north.

The golf course is a compact, parkland layout along tree lined and rolling fairways on the north side of the Smith River with Mulberry Creek traversing a few holes and a pond bordering two fairways. It's a drill in course management with narrow fairways and modest greens well protected by sand and grass bunkers. The original nine holes opened in the 1930s with Gene Hamm adding a new nine in 1964. From the tips it plays to 6,624 yards, 71.9/121 course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
