Gates Park is a municipal golf course on the north side of Waterloo, off Logan Ave at Donald St to the east.

The layout is a parkland-style design over slightly rolling terrain with scattered trees lining the fairways. Some water, in the form of Virden Creek and several ponds, is in play, along with a modest amount of sand bunkers. It plays from 5,568 yards to 6,839 yards. The Yellow tees are 6,382 yards, 69.1/113, course/slope ratings.
