Glade Valley is 10 miles north of Frederick just southwest of Woodsboro surrounded by farmland.

The layout is over slightly rolling terrain along well spaced fairways defined by trees with Glade Creek and several ponds/wetlands in play and 40+ sand bunkers along the fairways and greens. It can play to 6,866 yards, 72.5/123, course/slope ratings off the tips with three shorter tees, designed by JLR Associates.
