The Golden Eagle Golf Club is on the north side of the Rappahannock River in Irvington in Virginia's Northern Neck.

A small portion of the golf course borders an upscale, residential community while the balance of the layout is carved through dense pines straddling Golden Eagle Pond. In addition to the pond which is crossed twice, there's numerous other water featurs impacting play as well as a generous amount of sand bunkers. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 7,025 yards, 74.4/136, course/slope ratings, designed by George Cobb.
