The Piankatank River Golf Club is 1 1/2 hours east of Richmond in Hartfield off the General Puller highway at Grafton.

The golf course is part of a residential development with a mix of both tree lined and wide open fairways along the river flats. The front side provides some elevation change while the backside is mostly level with three holes along the Piankatank River. From the back tees the course can play to 6,631 yards, or as short as 4,664 yards, the middle tees are at 5,649 yards, 68.3/123, course/slope ratings, designed by Algie Pulley, Jr.
