The Kings Island Golf Center is north of Cincinnati off I-71 at the Kings Island amusement park an 18 hole, championship layout and an executive course.
The Grizzly course has been a PGA/LPGA tournament venue over the years and the primary layout here. It features contoured fairways and greens over slight elevation change with sand bunkers and water hazards framing the fairways, and a strategic layout overall. It has multiple tees from 4,987 yards at the front tees to 6,504 yards from the tips, the blue tees are 6,057 yards, 68.8/129, course/slope ratings, designed by Desmond Muirhead along with Jack Nicklaus in one of his first designs.
The Bruin, also designed by Muirhead/Nicklaus, is essentially an executive level layout and a lower degree of difficulty with seven par 4s and the balance par 3s playing to 1,816 yards, 57.8/89, course/slope ratings and a par of 61 for 18 holes.
