Heatherwoode is an upscale, municipal golf course located south of Dayton in Springboro off south Main Street at exit 38 of I-75.

The parkland-style golf course partially borders a residential community along broad fairways defined by stands of mature hardwoods. Clear Creek snakes through the northern third, along with numerous ponds and lakes, and a sprinkling of sand bunkers primarily guard the greens. The golf course was designed by Denis Griffiths and is 6,754 yards from the tips, 72.8/129 course/slope ratings, with four shorter tee boxes.
