The Club at Cumberland Lake is 30 minutes north of Birmingham off Marsh Mountain Road in Pinson.

The layout is mostly bordered by trees, natural areas, and Lake Sueann which is in play on a couple of holes. The routing is defined by tree lined fairways with minimal sand bunkers positioned mostly around the modest greens. It was designed by Jeff Pate and from the tips is 6,896 yards, 72.5/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
