The Golf Club of Bristol is on the east side of town just south of the Virginia border off Old Jonesboro Road.

The layout is a parkland design wandering along tree lined fairways over rolling terrain. It's a challenging layout with numerous doglegs, ponds and streams, and sculptured sand bunkers bordering the fairways and defending the greens. It plays to 6,474 yards from the tips with a par of 71, 71.0/126, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by A.G. McKay with a redesign by Mark McCumber in the 1990s.
