Grande Dunes is located along the Intracoastal off the Carolina Bays Parkway between Grissom Parkway and Water Tower Road.

The Resort course is a scenic layout even though it's within a residential development. It provides seven holes along a ridge overlooking the Intracoastal. It is forgiving off the tee along broad fairways with an abundance of water hazards and sand traps in play and generous green complexes. Designed by Roger Rulewich, it plays to 7,618 yards from the tips, 77.3/142 course/slope ratings with six tees overall.
