Hawk’s Landing is 30 minutes south of Hartford off I-84 at Exit 32 in a residential development with the homes mostly screened by trees.

The golf course is a compact, parkland design along narrow, tree lined fairways over relatively level land with well bunkered fairways and greens and water hazards in play on six holes. It's a shot maker's layout which from the back tees plays to a par of 70 at 5,944 yards, 68.6/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
