Haymaker is a municipal layout located in a scenic setting without homes or development south of Steamboat Springs between the Agate and Walton Creeks on US 40.

The golf course meanders through meadows along wide fairways and landing zones framed by tall native grasses, ponds, streams, and wetlands with views of the Yampa Valley and Mount Werner throughout. There's some interesting mounding in and around the green complexes which are large, undulating and quick, and well defended by sand bunkers. It was designed by Keith Foster and can play to 7,308 yards from the back tees, 73.4/133, course/slope ratings, but has 3 other positions.
