Steamboat Springs Golf Club is a couple of miles west of Steamboat on US 40 along the Yampa River.

The golf course is a nine-hole parkland layout over flat river bottom land with trees scattered along the fairways, two ponds, and a stream traversing the middle of the golf course. There are three sets of tees with the tips playing to 2,913 yards, 66.0/120, course/slope ratings for 18 holes.
