Hazen Golf Club is about 1 1/2 hours northwest of Bismarck along the Knife River in Hazen.

The golf course is a 9 holer where the #1 handicap hole is a par 3 known as "The Shortest Par Five in North Dakota." It's a 224 yarder with an unbelievably sloped, undulating, and crowned green that can easily yield a 4 putt! Otherwise, the golf course is a fairly routine trekking through scattered trees along the fairways with little in the way of sand bunkers and small to mid-sized greens. It's a rather short 2,821 yards from the tips for a par of 35, 33.6/112, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
