Hidden Valley is 30 minutes south of Springfield in Clever in a valley along the James River surrounded by forests and farmland.

The course ambles through a scenic, remote setting over mostly level land along tree lined fairways with several slight doglegs and numerous sand traps and water hazards both at the landing areas and greenside. The course was designed by Mario Alfonso and plays to 6,611 yards, 71.9/118, course/slope ratings off the tips with two shorter tees.
