Hot Springs Village is a resort/residential development with nine championship and executive level golf courses available to public play if booking through their Ouachita Sports Trail booking service.
As with most of the layouts at Hot Springs, Balboa was designed by Ault, Clark & Associates. All of the layouts are parkland style designs over rolling hills along pine and oak tree forests.
Balboa is a walker-friendly layout with wider fairways and fewer elevation changes than other Village courses. There's five sets of tees overall with the middle, white tees playing to 5,878 yards, 69.2/125, course/slope ratings.
Coronado Golf Course is the only executive-length par-62 golf course in Hot Springs Village, again designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, and good for a quick and playable round of golf for the higher handicapper and especially so without sand traps. The middle white tees here are 3,902 yards, par of 62, 60.0/95, course/slope ratings.
Cortez Golf Course is the shot maker’s layout where course management prevails over distance with tight landing areas and approaches to the heavily guarded greens. It's over rolling hills through hickory, oak, and pine trees and alongside numerous water hazards. It was designed by Ault, Clark as well and features a stunning view of the mountains from the No. 17 tee. There's five sets of tees with the middle, white tees playing to 6,001, 69.3/123, course/slope.
DeSoto, also by Ault Clark, was the Village's first course and is the most player friendly of the championship level layouts. There's five sets of tees with the white tees at 5,912 yards, par of 72, 68.6/121, course/slope.
Diamante is the only private golf club in Hot Springs Village, and is occasionally available for "member for a day" specials. The golf course is frequently ranked as one of the more challenging layouts in Arkansas, and stretches to 7,560 yards, 144 slope from its back set of six tees, by Ault, Clark.
Granada is the most scenic course in the Village over rolling hills through pine forests and stunning views with the signature hole No. 18 having a waterfall that stretches the length of the fairway. There's five sets of tees with the middle, white tees playing to 6,035 yards, par of 72, 69.5/122, course/slope ratings.
Isabella Golf Course is a 27-hole complex featuring three nine-hole rotations, Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. The layout features wider fairways and generous driving lanes with frequent doglegs and elevation changes throughout the round. All three nines are fairly similar in design with the Nina/Pinta rotation from the white, middle tees playing to 6,094 yards, 70.3/125, course/slope ratings.
Magellan Golf Course was originally a 3-hole golf school practice facility that was expanded to an 18 hole layout, and is a little shorter than other courses in Hot Springs Village. There's four sets of tees here with the White tees at 5,973 yards, par of 72, 68.6/120, course/slope ratings.
Ponce de Leon Golf Course, a John Daly design, is a parkland layout along tree-lined and rolling fairways with numerous water hazards and well bunkered fairways and greens-a true shot maker's layout. There's five sets of tees with the middle, white tees playing to 6,000 yards, 70.0/126, course/slope ratings.
