Idlewild GC is just north of Sturgeon Bay and west of Potawatomi State Park.

It's a parkland style, northwoods layout with stands of trees along the fairways' wide borders as it winds around wetlands and lakes. There's water in play on over half the holes including the island green finish in addition to a moderate amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the generous greens.
