Jack Frost National is 20 minutes south of Wilkes Barre on the east side of Blakeslee's I-80 and I-480 intersection.

It's a mountain-style layout over hilly, tree-lined fairways at the crest of Jack Frost Mountain at 2,000 feet in elevation. The fairways are isolated corridors on a 200+ acre tract of land with several water features in play and a generous amount of sand at the landing zones and securing the greens. It's somewhat open off the tee but narrows on approach to the greens which are quick and undulating and always break with the mountain slope. It was designed by Terry Lagree and is 7,256 yards from the tips, 74.9/139, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
