Jefferson Landing is in the far northwest corner of NC near the VA border, about 2 hours northwest of Winston Salem, and open to public play in the shoulder seasons.

The golf course moves over a scenic setting at the base of Mt. Jefferson and along the New River. The layout moves through a residential community along tree-lined and sloping fairways and numerous lakes or streams with a generous amount of sand bunkers at the landing zones off the tee and surrounding the greens. It was designed by Larry Nelson and plays to 6,450 yards from the blue tees, 69.7/127, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
