Kankakee Elks is a gem located on the southeast side of Kankakee along the Kankakee River.

The golf course is a classic, parkland layout from the 1920s winding along narrow, tree lined fairways of river bottom land with slight doglegs and minimal sand bunkers guarding the modest, raised and tiered greens. It has three sets of tees from 5,589 yards to 6,430 yards at the tips, 71.1/120, course/slope ratings, originally designed by William Langford and Theodore Moreau.
