Kankakee Elks is a gem located on the southeast side of Kankakee along the Kankakee River.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout from the 1920s winding along narrow, tree-lined fairways of river bottom land with slight doglegs and minimal sand bunkers guarding the modest, raised, and tiered greens. It has three sets of tees from 5,589 yards to 6,430 yards at the tips, 71.1/120, course/slope ratings, originally designed by William Langford and Theodore Moreau.
