Minne Monesee is 30 minutes east of Kankakee and an hour south of Chicago on the east side of the small village of Grant Park surrounded by farmland.

The golf course is a traditional layout originally built in the 1920s winding along tree lined fairways with a generous amount of sand bunkers, water hazards in play on eleven holes, and modest greens. It can play to 6,425 yards from the tips, 71.7/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, originally designed by Ted Locke with redesign work by Bob Lohmann.
