Kiln Creek is in Newport News off I-64 at the VA 171 exit just south of the Newport News Airport.

The course meanders through an established residential neighborhood over undulating terrain and along numerous doglegs with homes lining the fairways. There's multiple water hazards in play in addition to sand bunkers positioned along the landing zones and defending the greens. The course has four sets of tees from 5,316 yards to 6,880 yards, the Blues are 6,357 yards, 71.0/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Tom Clark.
