Lake Erie Metropark is south of Detroit off I-75 on the north side of Monroe within a park along the Detroit River.

The golf course moves over relatively level terrain with numerous wetlands and ponds along the fairways and guarding the greens and a moderate amount of sand traps. It can play to 6,472 yards, 71.0/125, course/slope rating from the tips with two shorter tees, designed by Sue Nyquist in 1994.
