The Lakeside Country Club is 8 miles south of I-80 at Lexington on the southeast shore of Lake Johnson surrounded by farmland and the Lake.

The layout is over slightly, rolling terrain along broad and narrow, fairways defined by trees with four holes bordering the Lake. It's a straightforward layout with several blind shots along gentle doglegs with a scattering of sand bunkers periodically along the landing zones, but generally defending the modest to ample, oval or kidney shaped greens. There's three sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,182 yards, 71.2/125, course/slope ratings.
