The Ledges is north of Springfield in South Hadley on the east side of the Connecticut River.

The course journeys through a scenic setting with the Holyoke Mountain Range as a backdrop featuring individual and unique holes either carved through the woods or along broad fairways. There's minimal water hazards in play, but a liberal amount of sand traps at the landing zones and defending the greens as the layout moves over a diverse topography. The golf course was designed by Howard Maurer with four sets of tees from 5,010 yards to 6,507 yards, from the blue tees it's 6,110 yards, 70.9/129, course/slope ratings.
