Southampton Country Club is 20 minutes northwest of Springfield off I-91 at the Cherry Street exit.

It's a parkland layout winding through a forest over rolling contours, providing a variety of uphill/downhill/sidehill lies with frequency. In terms of hazards, Moose Brook traverses the course from north to south, impacting play on several holes and a scattering of sand bunkers with the raised, quick, and undulating greens, the course's primary defense. The course was designed by John Strychary in the 1950s and, from the tips is 6,585 yards, 72.6/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
