Oak Ridge is on the southwest side of Springfield on the MA/CT border and 30 minutes from Hartford.

The layout is a parkland design lumbering over a large tract of land with holes isolated and separated along tree-lined corridors. There's water in the form of ponds and streams in play on over half the holes, along with well-bunkered greens. The course plays from 5,297 yards from the red tees to 6,702 yards from the golds; the blues are at 6,390 yards, 70.2/121, course/slope ratings, an early Tom Fazio design with assistance from Uncle George Fazio.
