The Legacy is one of the more scenic golf courses to play in the Atlanta area as it journeys along and above Lake Lanier.

The layout is a parkland design through pine and old growth, hardwood tree lined and hilly fairways with twelve of the holes alongside the Lake. It's a shot maker's layout where course management is critical with narrow fairways, tight approaches, and a liberal amount of sand traps. The Blue tees are at 6,193 yards, 71.0/137, course/slope ratings with a variety of tee box options, designed by Billy Fuller.
