The Hampton Golf Club is on the north side of Cumming off US 19 to the east within a residential community.

The golf course moves over the rolling foothills of North Georgia with several elevation changes on the front 9 while the back 9 is more open as it winds its way through streams and wetlands over lower, level terrain. It's a parkland routing with trees lining the fairway's borders and sand bunkers primarily greenside. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,903 yards, 72.7/136, course/slope ratings, designed by Clyde Johnson.
