Lion Hills is owned by East Mississippi Community College and is located on Military on the east side of town. It's laid out over a natural tract of land without homes or development.

The front nine is fairly straightforward and playable, while the backside tightens up along the tree-lined and hilly fairways with numerous water hazards. It's a traditional layout designed by John Frazier that plays to 6,064 yards, par 72, 69.9/125, course/slope ratings from the tips, and three shorter tees.
