Locust Hills is on the south side of Springfield in the country between exits 54 and 59 off I-70 with two 18 hole layouts.

Locust is the original layout while Maple is newer, slightly more open and playable off the tee but 200 yards longer. Overall, both layouts provide an interesting variety of holes along tree lined fairways over slightly rolling contours with minimal water and sand in play. The Maple Course plays to 6,730 yards, 70.9/118, course/slope ratings; the Locust course, 6.578 yards, 68.3/109, both from the Black tees with three shorter tee boxes available, designed by the Kitchen family.
