Loggers Trace is in Harrisville on Lake Huron, 1.5 hours east of Grayling. It has 27 holes, Loggers Trace is an 18-hole layout, and Springport is the original 9-hole course.

Logger's Trace is an interesting layout with varying degrees of elevation changes along a blend of broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways with views of Lake Huron. From the back tees, it's 6,403 yards, 71.2/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. Springport is challenging as it moves over rolling hills bordered by scattered trees, leading to small greens and a sparing use of sand traps. There are four sets of tees with the tips playing to 3,293 yards, 35.6/125, and course/slope ratings, designed by Bill LaForge.
