White Pine National Golf Resort is on the southeast side of Hubbard Lake 70 miles east of Grayling.

The golf course is carved through a northern Michigan pine forest along unique, isolated, rolling fairways. The landing zones and approaches to the greens are somewhat generous, although both are well-defended by sand bunkers. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,762 yards, 73.0/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Bruce & Clem Wolfrom.
