The Madison CC is north of Madison between Ridge Road and Lake Erie journeying over a natural tract of land without homes or development.

The layout is characterized by narrow, hardwood tree lined fairways over level land with numerous ponds and streams and a modest amount of sand bunkers primarily positioned around the substantial greensites. It can play to 6,487 yards from the tips with a par of 72, 72.2/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Sandy Alves.
