Little Mountain is located 30 miles east of Cleveland near Mentor on one of the highest points in northeast Ohio. While it's only about 400 feet higher than Lake Erie some five miles way, there's a glance of it from the 17th tee among other spots.

The golf course is over rolling land through tree lined corridors with Ellison Creek on the eastern boundary and is well bunkered along the fairways and greens. It plays to 6,616 yards, 72.7/131, course/slope from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees, designed by Michael Hurdzan/Dana Fry in 2000.
