McNary is west of the I-5 at exit 260 a few miles north of Salem.

The course is within a residential development with houses packed along most of the fairways save for a few. The layout is a fair test and somewhat forgiving off the tee along tree lined fairways with a number of holes with either Claggett Creek or ponds/lakes which come into play. It's not long at 6,239 yards, 69.5/126, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Fred Federspiel.
