Meadowlands is midway between Winston Salem and Highpoint in Wallburg, partially bordering the Meadowlands residential community.

The golf course has a challenging parkland layout with a blend of broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways. The Buck Branch and Brushy Fork creeks meander through sections, producing a large lake and several ponds. It's well bunkered along the fairways and guarding the oval or kidney-shaped greens with significant slope and undulation. From the tips, it's 6,868 yards with a 137 slope; the white tees are 5,842 yards, 68.0/123 course, and slope ratings with one shorter tee, designed by Hale Irwin.
