Merrimack Valley Golf Club is north of Boston in Methuen off exit 3 of Rt 213.

The layout provides for an interesting variety of holes with multiple wetlands and water hazards, various shapes and sizes of sand traps, and small to mid-sized, quick, and undulating greens. From the back tees, the course is short at 6,012 yards, par 70, 69.3/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. The golf course has been around since the 1920s and was originally designed by Donald Ross, with recent upgrades by George Sargent.
