The Mid Carolina Club is a private club, yet it is open to public play on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. It's located just off I-20 in Prosperity, about 30 minutes west of Columbia.

The layout is carved through the piney woods of Mid Carolina along a series of gentle and dramatic doglegs over level terrain. 35 sand traps defend the landing zones and greens, and multiple ponds and small lakes are in play. Six sets of tees range from 4,487 yards to 6,483 off the tips, with the White tees playing to 5,542 yards, 68.4/120, course/slope ratings.
