Mill Creek is south of Temple off I-35 in Salado within a residential community.

It's parkland layout requiring course management over length. The course provides a modest change in elevation winding across and along Salado Creek and several water hazards with sand bunkers bordering the landing zones and guarding the greens. There's three sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,436 yards, 70.5/128, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
