Mill Creek is between Hillsborough and Burlington off I-85 at the Mebane Oaks exit within a residential community.

The routing is traditional, with tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain and isolated and unique holes. There are a moderate number of sand traps along the fairways and greens, and numerous ponds and Mill Creek are in play. The course was designed by Brian Lussier, Gary Koch, and Rick Robbins. It has four sets of tees from 4,884 yards to 7,004 yards. The Whites are at 6,387 yards, 70.7/131 course/slope ratings.
